Who We Are

Birthday Angels was founded in 2014 in Toronto with the mission to spread the happiness of birthdays to children living in shelters. We believe that a child should be able to celebrate their birthday no matter their circumstances. Since 2014, we have expanded into multiple communities in Ontario, and have celebrated over 100 children's birthdays!

We throw 1 party per month at each of our partner shelters, and we work with each shelter to deliver a party that fits into their current protocols and safety measures. All parties are delivered in a contactless manner, and include supplies like: decorations, party favours, and a special birthday gift for each child celebrating.

Due to COVID-19, we have stopped delivering cakes to certain shelters, and adjusted our parties to fit each set of protocols. We have started to deliver "Birthday-in-a-box" style kits to shelters so families who are quarantined in their rooms can still feel the joy of birthdays!
